VIP Pick-Up

DESCRIPTION

This group assists staff and provides qualified driver volunteers to pick up judges at the airport and transport other VIP personnel associated with the Stock Show. Volunteers of the VIP Pick-up volunteer service area also drive a shuttle between the Hall of Education and Coliseum during rodeo events for Will-Call ticket customers.

LOCATION & CHECK-IN PROCEDURE

The Volunteer Center is located in the Expo Hall at the south end of the mezzanine, above the ticket office. The VIP Pick-Up Captain will make assignments.

DUTIES

1. Transport Stock Show judges to and from the airport and hotel.
2. A NWSS vehicle will be used for official transportation.
3. Must be pre-approved to drive a NWSS vehicle.
4. Each driver will need to have a good driving record verified with the Colorado Motor Vehicle Division.
5. Transport volunteers to and from the NWSS Parade.
6. Make pickup and deliveries for NWSS Staff.
7. Must know the airport arrangement.
8. Be sure the judges’ hotel is confirmed before leaving.
9. Assist judges by securing their credential packets upon arrival.
10. Need to have a cell phone.
11. Drive a shuttle van between the Hall of Education and Coliseum during rodeo events for Will-Call ticket customers.
