Coliseum Support
DESCRIPTION
Volunteers assisting in this area are to maintain the hospitality area for the rodeo cowboys, conduct check-in for contestants, organize and assist mutton bustin contestants and their families, assist the rodeo secretary etc… Providing water, coffee, and snacks to the contestants and their families as well as lending a helping hand when needed. Only 8-10 volunteers are needed, and are present for all of the rodeo performances. Many long hours are spent in this volunteer area.
LOCATION & CHECK-IN PROCEDURE
Check-in at the Volunteer Center located in the Expo Hall at the south end of the mezzanine, above the ticket office. Then report to the lower part of the Denver Coliseum to the Cowboy Hospitality area.
DUTIES
- Welcome the contestants and their families to the NWSS.
- Welcome mutton bustin contestants and their families to the NWSS.
- Maintain beverage and snacks in the Cowboy Hospitality Area.
- Keep the area clean and neat.
- Be prepared to provide information about the NWSS and metro area.
- Report to NWSS security anyone that should not be allowed in the area.
- Assist the rodeo secretary.
