For additional information select a breed or class:

Bright colors of bay, black or chestnut, mixed on white in large patterns are the markings of the American Paint Horse. This is a registered pedigree breed, not merely a color designation.

Favored, even by the Comanches for speed and tenacity, this versatile breed shows at the National Western Horse Show in pleasure, English and western, as well as in roping, reining and team roping, where the usability of the horse is judged.

This American Paint Horse Association-sanctioned show is Jan. 14-17.

The Paint Horse sale, held annually at the National Western, is nationally recognized for their presentation of top-quality animals. This year's Paint Sale will be held in conjunction with the Quarter Horse Sale in the newly formed Mile High Select Quarter Horse and Paint Horse Sale, and is scheduled for Jan. 12th at 5:00 p.m in the Events Center. For more information on the RMPHA Sale, or to consign a horse, please call (719) 488-2430.
