2005 Open High-Point:
IMA DRY DOC TOO shown by Samantha Stransky of Canyon, TX

The Nez Perce Indians bred and developed this special horse of a different color. With a uniquely distinctive speckled coat, the Appaloosa may also have vertically striped hooves and eyes frequently encircled in white. Well known for a gentle disposition, it is shown in halter, western pleasure and English pleasure, as well as in varied gymkhana events, which are competitive games on horseback. Stamina and endurance endear this breed to its owners.
