Wool,
as a natural fiber is unique in that it keeps you warm in the winter and
cool in the summer. It is inherently flame-retardant, difficult to ignite
and self-extinguishing. Wool also is the most versatile fiber known to
man, and is used for clothing, blankets, upholstery, wall coverings, carpets,
protective garments, shoe linings, tennis ball covers, industrial felts,
filters, mulch, matting and insulating materials.
Don't miss the Rocky Mountain Wool Spinners and Weavers located in Children's
Ranchland. They demonstrate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
