National Western Awards
74 Scholarships

The National Western Stock Show organizes and produces several events annually to benefit the National Western Scholarship Trust. The Trust, in turn, awards 74 scholarships for the 2007-08 school year. The grants range from $2,500 to $7,000, and are presented to students who study agriculture and practice medicine in rural areas at colleges and universities in Colorado and Wyoming.

National Western Scholarships are the major beneficiaries of the National Western Stock Show. Some of the more visible of all the events that support these scholarships include the Auction of Jr. Livestock Champions, and the annual National Western Citizen of the West Award & Dinner.
