Other Animal Exhibits

Stadium Arena Stalling Barns – Located in the lower level of Stadium Hall, the stalling barns are where all the livestock animals exhibited in the "Hill Show" are housed while on grounds. Be sure to click on the Schedule Link on the left to see what animals are on grounds on different days.Over the course of the 16 day event, Stadium Arena houses cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, horses and chickens! In addition to live animals there is a wool display area along with sheep shearing demonstrations, check the schedule for dates and times.

The Historic Stockyards – See where the National Western all started 109 years ago! The only of its kind left, the National Western "Stockyards Show" is a must-see maze of pens with 20 different breeds of cattle, as well as yak and bison circulating through over 16 days! Get a bird's eye view across the yards with a walk on the raised catwalk; be sure to bring your camera. Check the Schedule Link on the left to see a full list of all the shows and sales held in the Yards, and don't miss the exciting Stock Dog Trials where working ranch dogs compete with their owners!
