The National Western Stock Show organizes and produces several events annually to benefit the National Western Scholarship Trust. This year, the Trust awarded 71 grants for the 2009-2010 school year. The grants range from $2500 to $6000 and are presented to students studying agriculture and medicine for practice in rural areas at colleges in Colorado and Wyoming.
